Routemagic, consisting of RouteMagic controller (RMC) and Routemagic Server(RMS) acts as serial console management tool achieving four major functions:real time monitoring, notification, data logging, and remote log in.

RMC is an embedded hardware connected to serial console port of the network equipment.RMC monitors the network equipment through each console port to see what the system is doing on a real time basis. If something happens, the RMC obtains the necessary information through the console port and forwards it immediately by email. RMS is a central software to manage and log each network equipment information thorough the RMC. Customers can monitor, data log, operation log, and analyze the network in a secure manner from remote locations as if they are in front of the network equipment.(The network management operation is not dependent on the LAN conditions because it utilizes it's own network.)
